Birthday Parties

We host parties for up to 15 children on Saturdays and during school holidays between the times of 10am-12pm or 1pm-3pm. (Some Sundays may be accomodated)

We offer exclusive access to our amazing private woodland where children are free to make mud pies, swing in a hammock, climb a tree, take part in woodland games and more…

A party costs £275 with food and £245 without. The food option can include either children making their own delicious woodfired oven pizzas (our most popular option) or we can provide bbq sausages/burger or bacon rolls. For dessert, we toast marshmallows over the fire and - with the help of a couple of chocolate biscuits - make a S’more!

A £75 deposit is required to secure your booking and the balance is to be paid 7 days prior to the event date.

Extra children above the limit of 15 may be added to the guest list at our discretion for a cost of £15 per child.

For booking or to request more information, please message us on our Facebook page or email us at roamexperience@gmail.com

FAQs

Q: Do parents/guardians need to stay with their child?

A: If they are Reception age or under (5 and under) they will need an adult to attend with them. For older children, they can be dropped off and collected after the party if you wish. We ask for children with significant SEN to have an adult attend with them. Adults for children of any age are absolutely welcome to stay but we just ask to try to stick to one adult per child.

Q: Do you provide cake, party bags or invites?

A: Not at this time. We ask you to send out your own invites and please feel free to bring your own cake and party bags.

Q: Do adults attending get looked after?

A: Adults will have access to tea and coffee.

Q: Do you cater for dietary needs and allergies?

A: Yes, we cater as best we can for all allergies and dietery needs (dairy free cheese, gluten free pizza bases, vegetarian marshmallows/sausages etc…)

Q: Does the 15 children include the birthday child and their siblings?

A: Yes.

Q: Can invited children bring along a sibling?

A; No. They would need to be included in the overall numbers.

Q: What ages count towards the numbers?

A: If they are likely (and able) to join in with activities, then they would need to be included. Usually this would be from around late 2 years - 3 years old. Babies in prams and slings would not counted.

Q: Can we bring our own decorations?

A: It can be a challenge to decorate a large woodland and takes time and is at the mercy of the weather! We always provide balloons around our parachute shelter. If you have just a few extra bits you would like to bring along, you are welcome but it is not necessary.

Q; Do we need to provide our own games/activities?

A; No. Occasionally people have brought their own pass the parcel or hung a pinata but we usually find the children are perfectly happy building dens, finding clues on our trails, climbing trees, making mud pies, crafting, making pizzas, toasting marshmallows etc…! There isn’t often a lot of time for extra games, but you are welcome to organise something if you wish.
